A print of one of my handmade paper molas artwork, inspired by molas, a textile art form from the Guna Indians from Panama and Colombia. This diablico sucio (or losely translated -dirty devil) is inspired by a traditional Panamanian attire for a dance that is part of the Corpus Christi festivities, celebrated in Panama. This mask was inspired by vintage diablico sucio masks. To learn more about them, you can do a quick search for "diablicos sucios" or ask me :)
This print would make a unique gift for someone who loves to collect Panamanian art or Latin American art in general, as well as colorful and bold artwork that will definitely brighten up any space with splashes of color. The print looks amazing framed in a shadow box or matted with a burlap pattern behind it. The background color can be customized based on taste, with a quick turnaround time at no extra charge. Just leave me a note at checkout.
Shipped with a 4mm backing and wrapped in a cellophane bag for protection.
Please keep in mind that due to different resolutions on digital screens, actual print colors may differ slightly.
